We welcome everyone who can play an instrument who is interested in joining the band, but we are especially looking for: low woodwind, any brass, and percussion.

Costs involved: $45 per semester, which covers hall hire and insurance.
Auditions: NONE REQUIRED!
Who: Anyone aged between 12-25

Other Information
We would just like to go over some of the expectations and procedures of the band and its members.
- Rehearsals are on Tuesday nights from 7:15 – 9pm
- Members are expected to be at the hall at 7pm to set up seats and instruments
- Rehearsals are held throughout the school year and break over the school holidays
- If you are unable to make a rehearsal you are required to contact the secretary before the evening by phone, text message or e-mail (before 6pm) as below
- Band members are expected to attend as many performances as possible, with 3 compulsory performances (Eisteddfod in May, Floriade in September and end of year concert in December)
- Fees are $45 per semester
- Each member is required to make a $30 deposit for a band-shirt to use for performances
- The band has a web site set up and on it has all the information about the band. We also put photos up and require permission from parents under 18 to approve this.
- Members are permitted to photocopy the music for home practice and may sign out and take home the original folders.
